Guides End of year Camp Day 1 :)

In the morning we had a balloon sculpture workshop. Overall, we think that this balloon sculpture is very interesting, it allow us to bond together well as we interact with each other a lot. Most importantly, it helped some guides to overcome their phobia of balloons. We believe that this skill that we have learnt can benefit both Guides and the school a lot, as we are able to use these balloons during any events:)

This time we had an hour lunch at anywhere we want near the prawning area. It was relaxing as we get to choose where we want to eat as we had freedom to choose and it trains our punctuality.


The last activity was PRAWNING!:) This is the most memorable activity as many guides have never gone prawning before.Thus, it was first hand experience for them. This activity trains our patience A LOT and our endurance to continue to wait and handle the baits ( disgusting! :/ ). It also train the entire guides teamwork as some had to catch the prawn and some had to BBQ the prawns. Also, it started raining all of a sudden and the prawning area is quite a distance from the shelter and not all guides brought an umbrella.We had to share and take care of each other as it was very slippery and very cold:/
