ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hey Guides! Here's the steps on how to fold your scarf since some of you are unsure as to how to fold it.

Step 1: Place the scarf on the table, bottom side facing up. Mark out 3 fingers spacing above the state crest and fold the scarf down.

Step 2: Flip the scarf over

Step 3: Fold it down to the marking left by the previous fold.

Step 4: Repeat the previous step again.

After which, you will tie the scarf around your neck with the steps "left over right, right over left."

Guides uniform

Here is the right sleeve. Just post this up on the blog and remind the Guides every time there is a horseshoe formation for ceremonies; the patches are to be sewn from the middle 2 columns downwards in a (2x3) form. Then, patches are to be sewn on the right-outside column downwards, then on the left-outside column downwards. The coy tag should be place in the middle of the sleeve, not too forward and not to back.

Here is the left sleeve. All other patches which are 'oddly shaped' is to be sewn here. This includes Health Trooper Badge, Heritage Badge, Accident Prevention, SANA. The Total Defence badge is also to be place here. They are to place the latest attainment. Eg; If they've gotten their silver Total Defence, they are not to put their bronze. Same goes for Health Trooper.

The world badge is to be placed just right above the World Thinking Day/Centenary patch. The attainment badge however is to be placed two fingers away from the first button. It has to be lower than the world badge but above the patrol emblem. Guides is to place the most recently attained badge.
For the sec 1s, let any seniors know if you need any help. As for the rest of the guides, you can approach any of the leaders for assistance.

Thank you,
Michelle Tan
