Guides, as you all know, we have East Division Day every year, and this year will be no different. This year, the theme is "Back To Singapore Kampung Days" and it will be held on the 29th of August. There will be 7 competitions for you guys to join, including a booth to set up. EVERYONE has to take part in this, and it is COMPULSORY to go for it. Here are the events:
1. Mini Gadget Making (max 4 per coy)
2. Recycled Toy Making (max 2 per coy)
3. Tele-match (max 6 per coy, 2 reserve)
4. Performance (max 6 per coy)
5. Desert Making (max 3 per coy)
6. Handicraft Fridge Magnet (max 2 per coy)
7. Recycled Fashion Show (max 3 per coy)
The rest who has no roles will mend the booth (abt 5 guides)
If you don't have a clue what some of the competitions are, feel free to ask. The places will come in a first-come-first-serve basis. But please keep in mind to join the competition only if you have ACTUAL KNOWLEDGE of the competition as this is a COMPETITIVE EVENT and there will be prizes. This is NOT a tryout. By joining something you have no idea about, like joining desert making without knowing how to do it, would be putting yourself in great humiliation, and the whole Ngee Ann girl guides too. Do think wisely on which events you would like to join.
WE NEED THE NAMES LATEST BY TUESDAY.
We need the names by Tuesday because we will be using this Tuesday to prepare for it. You can tell us before guides start too on Tues but do keep in mind that the later you reply, the more limited the places will get. Message your patrol leader on which competition you are choosing to partake in and she'll message the leaders. We will update you on the available slots. Thanks :)
