hey guides! we leaders did not actually want to give a speech just now because all of us were afraid of breaking down halfway during our speeches hahaha. it has been an amazing 4-year journey being a Ngee Ann Girl Guide. i can still remember seeing our previous leaders step down and now, i am actually in the graduating batch. there are just a few things i want to say specifically to every level.

To the sec 1s, i am not too sure if you are reading this but still i just want to say that the journey as a Girl Guide will be memorable to you. i know i sound biased and i bet every senior will tell that to the new batch of students in every cca. but, it is the truth anyway. guides has given me so much beautiful moments that i will forever remember and treasure in my heart. i wish you all the best in your secondary school journey and of course, your journey as a Girl Guide.

To the sec 2s, honestly, i was a bit worried about you guys. when i was given the role to lead the cca, i observed that some of you often stuck in your own cliques. i was worried that i couldn't be able to have you guys open up to your seniors. thankfully, most of you began to open up more and were even able to joke around with the seniors. thank you for cooperating with the 4 leaders! it has been a great pleasure knowing you guys. you all really have potential, so do take guides seriously. you guys can indeed play around but be serious at the right times and don't slack alright? thank you for everything, sec 2s 🙆

To the sec 3s, you guys are the batch closest to the sec 4 batch this year because well, technically, we knew each other the longest. finally, it is your turn to step up and lead guides. the pressure is on but i know you guys can do it. i have faith in yall 💪 i am really glad to see you leading and helping your PL and PS to guide your juniors. thank you for putting so much effort! it has been a great pleasure knowing you guys! and upper sec is very hectic and stressful but just know that we sec 4s got your backs anytime ;) if you ever need help, i'm sure the seniors are glad to help you. jiayou in everything you do and although there is no longer 2 coys, i hope that won't stop us from getting another gold again! thank you for everything, sec 3s 🙆

and finally, my sec 4s! i literally grew up with you guys and omg can't you believe it has been 4 years since we knew each other? i can still remember when we were all awkward with one another and i was really confused when i saw the sec 4s at that time stepping down. a lot of people were crying while hugging one another. honestly, i did not understand why they would cry over just a farewell ceremony but now that i am in their shoes, i understand. we went through a lot together and we made so many memories together. thank you for the amazing 4 years together! i will miss all your jokes, hyper sides, laughter and of course, the bond we have together. this year is gonna be a tough year. but i know we all can do it! i have faith in all of you. jiayou to all of us for our national exams! love you all so much 🙆

thank you everyone for being part of my journey in Ngee Ann. it has been a great pleasure knowing all of you! i am sorry if i have hurt your feelings in any way and if i am lacking as a leader. we sec 4s will definitely miss you as much as you will miss us. hope all of you like the cookies! thank you for the beautiful moments

p.s - to the four teachers who might be reading, thank you for giving me the opportunity to lead. honestly, i was very worried and pressured about being the acl. however, i gained a very meaningful experience and a whole lot of memories. i would like to apologise if we the leaders and the sec 4s have ever frustrated you in any way. thank you once again for giving me the opportunity.

I will miss you guys so much. And I had lots of fun as the CL, leading you guys throughout your guiding journey for this short year. There are definitely memories that I will take with me and will last with me for a long, long time. I hope that you all will enjoy the rest of your guiding journey underneath new leaders who will bring you guys to greater heights. (Don't give them too much trouble and hassle!) I hope that all of you will work together in your new patrols with new patrol leaders and patrol second! I will miss you guys and of course, I will come back every now and then to see you guys :)
